Replacing the Wiper Arm

OK, I didn't really need to do this, but the wiper arms were really looking bad (see the before picture above).  The paint had mostly chipped off and I decided I'd remove and paint them.  I don't know if you can really see the difference in the pictures, but in person, it looks a lot better.

You start by lifting up on the wiper blade and slip a screwdriver under the flange at the base of the arm.  Pull the flange upward and the arm will slip right off. 

I used some black enamel spray paint and let it dry good before I put them back on.  They look brand new.

Putting it back on is just as easy as taking them off.  Remember to lift the blade to get the flange to move.
